Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas Review: A Luxurious Stay

Updated: Nov 14, 2024

When visiting Sin City splurging on a luxury hotel may be something you are considering, but is it worth your wallet? We stayed and reviewed the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas for three nights while visiting Las Vegas, and loved our stay. We were surrounded by luxury amenities, delicious food, and attentive staff throughout our stay, and truly felt like high rollers. We paid $1,190.49 for our three-night stay, (excluding our hefty late-night room service bill).

Getting To Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas:

The Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is about 3-5 miles from the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS). Although it is close to the airport, we do not recommend walking during the summer since temperatures can reach over 100 degrees! Other options are available to get you from the airport to the hotel like; ride-share, taxi, limos, public transit, private transportation via the Four Seasons Hotel, and rental cars.

On this trip we did not fly, and instead opted to drive down from San Francisco with our car. However, when we do fly into Vegas, we tend to opt for rideshare via Uber since it is the most convenient. There are plenty of Ubers in the area, and a ride from the airport (LAS) to the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas averages about $20-$35, which is steep for the distance but cheaper than renting a car! Surge pricing is huge here, and the time of day can drastically change the price of your ride!

Taxis are also readily available throughout the city, especially at the airport. The average price for a taxi from the airport to the Four Seasons Hotel is about $23, making it cheaper than ride-share! A few local options are A Cab, Yellow Checker Star, and Nellis Cab

Bell Limousine is a local limo company that offers roundtrip airport transportation to and from your hotel with complimentary champagne for $160 to $250 depending on the car model. A perfect option for special occasions and celebrations!

Public transit is available for about $6 from the airport to the Four Seasons Hotel via city buses. You can navigate by checking the routes on the RTC website or using Uber. Uber is partnered with the city and has transit directions on the app to guide you to the right spots. If you book more than a one-time bus pass, you may also pay for your ticket on the Uber app. If booking a one-time ticket, book through the Ride RTC app, at ticket vending machines, or in person at the transit center.

Four Seasons offers paid private transportation for guests who want to book transit directly through the hotel. Pricing ranges from $160 to $300 depending on your party size and vehicle.

A rental car averages upwards of $500 a week with insurance and is not necessary if you plan on only visiting the strip and surrounding area. The strip is very walkable, and you can beat the heat by walking through casinos and hotel lobbies. If you rent a car keep in mind parking adds up quickly, since most places are valet only.

Check-in:

As you pull up to the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas it is easy to get lost! It may seem like you are approaching Mandalay Bay, but do not panic, you are not in the wrong spot! The Four Seasons Las Vegas is actually inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel. We did not know the two were connected and thought our GPS had malfunctioned. The closer you get to the entrance of the Four Seasons, the more the layout starts to make sense! They have a separate entrance from the Mandalay Bay, and it feels like its own hotel.

The standard check-in time for the Four Seasons Las Vegas is 3:00 PM. As you pull up to the lobby you will be greeted by valet staff at your car, or for those getting out of a cab or limo, you will be greeted by a doorman and bellhops. Staff will assist you with your luggage and direct you toward the check-in counter of the hotel.

The valet were all extremely friendly. We had been on a long road trip before we pulled up to the valet so our car was a little bit of a wreck, and they even offered to clean out some of the road trip garbage we accumulated along the ride.

The staff at check-in were pleasant. They were quick with the check-in process and very informative about the resort layout. When they saw we were celebrating something special, they quickly got us two flutes of champagne. We got our room cards and were shown to the elevators. The elevators for the Four Seasons are separate from Mandalay Bay, and only operate on the floors where Four Seasons customers are staying. We recommend paying attention when being shown where the elevators are as they can be a little hard to find (especially after a few free drinks in the casino!). There is also a set of elevators that leads directly to the casino floor and is only accessible to Four Seasons customers. We were not shown this during check-in but they were easy to find once we roamed around the resort!

Room Details:

At the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas we stayed in a deluxe double queen room for three nights and paid $1,190.49 (excluding $45 per night for parking and room service). Our room had two queen-sized beds, a small table with two chairs, a lounge chair, large windows with views of the strip, a fully stocked mini fridge, a large soaking tub, and a separate standing shower. We also had a large tv, and dresser in the room.

When we arrived in our room we noticed a large insect crawling around the bathroom floor. It was giant!! We were not sure if it was poisonous since we were in the desert and did not want to touch it, but after looking it up online we figured it was probably safe to touch. Seeing such a large bug go unnoticed by housekeeping put us on edge, and we checked the rest of the room for bugs. Thankfully, we did not find any more in the room, and had no more bug issues during our stay!

The bathroom was perfect for relaxation with a deep soaking tub, paired with complimentary robes and slippers. The beds in our room were comfortable and the perfect balance between too soft and too hard, as were the pillows! It was easy to get a good night's rest in the soft plush beds.

Our room faced the strip, and provided amazing views! We could see big hotels like the Luxor, Parisian, and New York New York. The view was especially spectacular at night when the strip was lit up in neon as far as the eye could see. The only odd thing about the windows in the room was that they had a really strong tint on them and it distorted the view slightly.

Turn-down service was provided each night if you opted in, and the housekeepers were super sweet and did an amazing job. They wrapped our chargers up for us and used a velcro device to hold them together, and when they saw we drank all our water they left us extra! The attention to detail made our stay feel incredibly special and personalized.

Property:

Since the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel you get to enjoy full access to Mandalay Beach and its facilities including a wave pool, lazy river, three swimming pools, a jogging track, and 2,700 tons of real sand! If the Mandalay Bay pools are not for you, do not worry, the Four Seasons has a private pool just for guests!

The Four Seasons property has amazing features like a huge gym with dozens of machines, fresh towels, water, and fresh fruit. An on-site spa with many different treatment options ranging from facials to a fresh mani-pedi, and even poolside treatment options!

Dining options at the Four Seasons range from poolside to fireside, to right in your room! There is a poolside bar serving light bites and drinks, the Veranda restaurant, a Mediterranean flair, or Press, an indoor-outdoor lounge with light bites, drinks, and fire pits.

We did not eat at any of the locations but did order room service. We tried the club sandwich, pizza, meatballs, milkshakes, cookies, lemonade, and iced tea while there and loved everything we tried! The milkshakes especially were so good! We would recommend a late-night room service order after the casino! It did get a little expensive for everything, we paid $192.15 for our food including the service fee and added gratuity.

Since you are inside the Mandalay Bay building, you can easily access the casino floor, and all of the food and drink options there. As you leave the elevators of the Four Seasons to go to the lobby, there is a direct door to the casino floor of Mandalay Bay! It made it easy for us to get to and from the casino, and we even won some money there!

Another nice amenity we utilized was the hotel gym. The gym was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that made any workout easy to complete. Treadmills, Bikes, Ellipticals, and the pool were all available for cardio exercises. There was a pretty large weight section with dumbbells, some pre-weighted barbells, and weight machines. Besides the weight section, there were also mats, blocks, and exercise balls that could be used for yoga and stretching.

What surprised us about the gym, was the quality of the equipment. Most hotels provide a gym for guests to use, but they tend to be worn down over time. Everything in the Four Seasons Las Vegas was brand new and better than the equipment offered at most local gyms. The gym was also stocked with water, towels, and a small bowl of fruit. Staff members even walked through the gym cleaning and offering water or towels to guests! For a luxury hotel, the gym and its staff held up to high standards.

Check out:

The check-out time for the Four Seasons Las Vegas is 12:00 PM. The checkout process was super easy, we did not have to do a formal check out, and instead left our keys in the room and received an emailed copy of our final bill. We called down to the valet before we left our room, and our car was waiting for us when we got there. Overall the checkout was fast and efficient.

Bonus Tip:

We booked our room last minute, about a day or two in advance and it was cheaper than normal! Sometimes the price of this hotel can be upwards of $800 per night. We looked to book at the same time next year and the price was more than double. So consider not booking too far in advance if you have some flexibility in your vacation!

Summary:

For a three-night stay at the Four Seasons, we paid $1,190.49 and got a deluxe double room with views of the strip and a large soaking tub. We enjoyed a luxury gym, delicious food, and access to Mandalay Beach during our stay. The food was some of our favorite we’ve had at any Four Seasons! We did find a bug in our room upon arrival, but after checking the whole room, it seemed to be an isolated incident and we easily took care of it. Overall our stay was great, and we got to experience life as high rollers on the Vegas Strip for three nights!
